Select a language to access the corresponding library:

For coding, I prefer the Hungarian naming notation where a variable name starts with a group of lower-case letters which denote the type or purpose of that variable, followed by a short, descriptive name in camel case. I use the following prefixes for variables:

sng Single str String

I use the same notation for subroutines and functions (see below) except in the case of powershell, where in most cases I am using names consistent with the standards of powershell cmdlets.
